Placement of catheter through abdominal wall into bladder for urinary drainage.
Sterile catheter kit, local anesthesia, ultrasound guidance.
Identify bladder location, prep site, consent.
Secure catheter, monitor urine output, prevent infection.
Provides urinary drainage when urethral catheterization is not possible. (Note: SPC here refers to Suprapubic Catheter, not Statistical Process Control.)
