Dr Swarankar graduated with a gold medal from the University of Rajasthan and completed his post graduation from Nation's Premier Medical institute PGIMER, Chandigarh in 1982. He had his basic In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) training from the University of Liverpool, UK. He had extensive training in USA, Germany, France & Australia etc., in the field of Advance Reproductive Technology & Microsurgery. He is the founder director of Jaipur Fertility Centre (now an urban satellite centre, a Unit of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur) which is the first centre of Rajasthan & North India to have successful IVF programme and delivered more than ten thousand babies to infertile couples in the last two decades.
